We all love glass tabletops, but lets face it, they get scratched, and then we don't love them so much. I discovered a solution for that: sandblasting. If you have a scratched glass tabletop, and are lucky enough to have a sandblaster in your area, simply ask them to blast over the scratches. Of course you are left with a "frosted" look, but sometimes that look is better.

Furniture doesn't have to be so dang serious all the time. It doesn't have to be perfectly finished, free of nicks, scratches and watermarks. Sometimes these imperfections say, "Hey, I'm having fun here, and people love me!"
That's how I felt about this Danish style table. Its leaves were in great shape, but the main tabletop and legs were well "loved." I didn't feel like trying to restore it to its original look, partly because I didn't think it ...

Iknow, Thanksgiving hasn't even arrived, and we're already getting bombarded with holiday catalogs and advertisements. It makes me sick to throw them all in the recycling bin (all that glossy paper and colored ink). So, I say, when life gives you catalogs, make "repurposely" greeting cards. Then, call the offending companies and ask to be taken off their mailing lists.
