ometimes it takes some hunting...I was very excited when I discovered these dirty old cabinets at Second Home in Alameda. I knew they could turn into something special. With a little elbow grease, new knobs, a cowhide wrapped top, and steel pipe for feet, I had a beautiful display cabinet for my favorite books and mags. Bonus: there's a little metal plate on the top piece that says, "Internal Revenue Service." I'm imagining these cabinets are happier ...
