Sometimes the parts are worth more than the whole. As was the case with this dining table. At first, I was drawn to its details and unique design, and thought, with a few coats of fashionable blue paint, it would be a quick sale.

Last week, I had the privilege of hosting March's open studios event at Redux. That's just one of the reasons I'm behind on posting, but the fun was definitely worth the work. For the event, I collaborated with Redux studio artists and guests to create these one-of-a-kind mirrors. I don't know why, but there seems to be an abundance of mirrors out there, and some of them need a little somethin'- somethin'.

Tuesdays are my picking days; my treasure hunting, get-all-dirty me time. During last Tuesday's outing, I came across several white oak chairs. (I think they're white oak. Please correct me if I'm wrong.) They looked so worn out and tired from what appeared to be gross negligence and outdoor use. Though, when I picked up one of the chairs and felt it's heft, I knew they could make a full recovery.
