When I salvaged a very large baker's sheet pan, I had grand visions of baking many cookies all at one time. I brought the pan home to show off, and quickly realized it wouldn't fit in my oven, so I announced to my family, "Look at this great planter-tray I found!" Wooden It Be Nice

For some reason, where ever I look these days, I see wooden dishes. It's weird; sort of like when you learn a new word, then all of a sudden you hear that word all the time... Full disclosure: I had to look up tips on saying "wooden" dish, or "wood" dish. If my Google search is correct, "wooden" is an adjective, and "wood" is a noun. Blanket Approach

The name of the game is "trash to treasure." I'm on a mission to rescue disregarded and discarded art as well as other home furnishings. My favorite pieces right now are a sweet Chinese brush painting of a black cat, and a 70's watercolor of pastel mushrooms. Somehow they work well hanging on the same wall. I still haven't decided if I want to keep the original frames, or update them a little. Hmmmm... Somethings look better in their warn yet original ...
