There's so much ugly particleboard in the world. I feel it's my duty to cover it with beautiful fabric whenever I can. Actually, I prefer to decoupage the fabric to make it more durable and easy to wipe clean.

You can always count on finding inexpensive, mismatched wine glasses at any thrift store (or my kitchen cabinet for that matter). What to do with all those misfit glasses? I say, repurpose them as candle holders. Spray with frosted spray paint to give them uniformity, and they look great on a mantle or table setting. It's a sad day when one of your favorite wool sweaters accidentally gets washed in the washing machine; it's an even worse day for whose fault it is (Bill!). But, it's always good to make the most of a bad situation. I've discovered that washed and tumble dried wool sweaters make awesome felted fabric, and that fabric makes awesome pillows.
