love free, curb-side stuff as much as I do benches. When I picked up this bench from the side of the road, it was cat scratched and dogeared. I didn’t dare put it in my car, so I strapped it to the roof and drove it straight to the upholsterer. Now it sits pretty under the dramatic photo by artist Michael Singman-Aste.
